The chakras themselves are conduits of consciousness - they each are designed to express very specific aspects of our emotional/biological/psychological make-up. They are arrayed along a central power channel of energy that runs through the core of the body.

As we go through life, we have many different types of experiences - some are joyful, and some are not. Every experience generates an emotion, and a thought, and a physiological response. Painful emotions and thoughts that are held in the energy field create constrictions that literally block the flow of life force energy that our bodies need to survive. The good news is that we can clear, balance and strengthen our energy field. We can release trapped emotions and let go of painful thoughts. We can clear our own chakras. When our energy is flowing freely, we experience peace, calmness, joy, clear thinking and vibrant health!
